Nigerian Entrepreneur Oluwasoga Oni Secures $3M Investment for Startup Success

MDaaS Global, a Nigerian health technology firm helmed by CEO Oluwasoga Oni, has made headlines for its remarkable pre-Series A investment round. The organization has acquired a $3 million investment, marking a big step forward in its mission to revolutionize African healthcare.

MDaaS Global was founded in 2016 by Oluwasoga Oni, Opeyemi Ologun, and Genevieve Oni, and opened its first diagnostic center in 2017. The company’s objective is to increase access to high-quality diagnostics and healthcare services throughout Africa.

MDaaS Global, which focuses on imaging, cardiac evaluations, and laboratory tests, has expanded to 17 facilities in 10 Nigerian states, servicing over 275,000 patients.

The latest fundraising round, led by Aruwa Capital Management and Newtown Partners, with participation from Ventures Platform, increases MDaaS Global’s total funding to $6.8 million. This investment will help the company enhance its unique technology platform, BeaconOS, and drive its plans to expand into all 36 states of Nigeria.

MDaaS Global has a huge impact on African healthcare, helping over 1,300 hospitals, corporations, and HMOs with its BeaconHealth platform. The company’s expansion plan involves both company-owned clinics and affiliate partnerships, with the goal of making great healthcare available to everyone.

Under Oluwasoga Oni’s direction, MDaaS Global has used modern technology to enhance diagnostic procedures and manage occupational health for corporate clients with products such as Olewerk and Beam. Oni’s distinct blend of US and Nigerian healthcare experiences has been critical in customizing technology to the African healthcare experience.

The successful funding round demonstrates the increased interest and investment in African health-tech businesses. With Oluwasoga Oni’s vision and leadership, MDaaS Global is well-positioned to transform healthcare delivery in Africa, positively impacting the lives of millions.
