Early Life & Education
Sylvia Oluchy was born in Lagos on July 7th. She grew up in Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory. She attended primary and secondary school in Abuja. Oluchy continued her education at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra State, where she majored in Theater Arts.
Career
Oluchy made his professional debut in Nollywood in 2011. In her first acting role, she played Idara in the film Bent Arrows. Her performance in the film earned her the Rising Star award at the Nollywood Movie Awards. Oluchi portrayed Shaniqua in the popular Atlanta television series. She rose to prominence and fame in Nollywood as a result of her outstanding performance in the film, which led to major roles in other Nollywood films.
