Rema opened the show with “DND,” a song from his current extended play (EP), “Ravage.”
His big tunes ‘Dirty,’ ‘Ginger,’ ‘Lady,’ and ‘Soundgasms’ also wowed the audience.
Rema came for the second round riding a bat with blazing red eyes, dressed as a cybernetic warrior, after a brief intermission.
Following that, the singer serenaded the audience with songs from his EPs ‘Rema’ and ‘Bad Commando’.
Rema also asked Marvin Records stars to perform their hit song ‘Won Da Mo’ on stage.
Before taking the stage, the Afrobeats star paid appreciation to Burna Boy for bringing him there in 2021.
“Before I get on stage, I want to say a big thank you to @burnaboy for bringing me on stage two years ago. Today it’s my turn to conquer that same stage, and I wish you were here to share this moment with me. Regardless, I’m grateful for the motivation,” he said.
Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, has received a warm welcome from music fans since bursting onto the scene.
In 2019, he secured a record deal with D’Prince’s Jonzing World, a Mavin Records subsidiary.
The singer launched his self-titled first EP ‘Rema’ in 2019.
His breakthrough tune, ‘Calm Down,’ has continued to rake in large amounts on streaming sites, shatter records, and win awards.
