WATCH: Temi Otedola Makes Runway Debut at L’Oréal Paris Fashion Show

Temi Otedola, a Nigerian actress, made her runway debut at the L’Oréal Paris Défilé fashion show held at the Opera House in Paris, France.

Temi was appointed as the African digital brand ambassador for a French cosmetics firm.

L’Oréal Paris described the collaboration as “iconic”. It has added Temi to its roster of ambassadors, which includes Kendall Jenner, an American model, and Viola Davis, an American actress.

Others include Eva Longoria, Aishwarya Rai, Cara Delevingne, Andie MacDowell, Heidi Klum, and Alia Bhat.

The actress, dressed in a spectacular, balloon-like corset-fitted crimson dress, walked the runway with a smile. She paused halfway and massaged her lips with L’Oréal’s crimson lipstick.

Celebrating the milestone via Instagram, the actress said it’s an honour to showcase the beauty of an African woman to the world.

“Still can’t believe I walked the @lorealparis Défilé Show. Walking alongside so many women who inspire me was a dream come true!!! As L’Oréal’s Digital African Ambassador it’s an honour to show the beauty of being an African Woman to the world,” Temi wrote.

“Thank you @lorealparis and your amazing team for this unforgettable night. I’ll never forget my first ever runway moment.”

Founded in the mid-1900s, L’Oréal Paris aims to empower women with initiatives promoting equal rights and self-esteem.

The feat for Temi comes a few days after Florence ‘DJ Cuppy’ Otedola, her sister, also made history after hosting an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The sisters are children of Femi Otedola, the billionaire businessman.
