The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has proclaimed Oluwadamilola Aderinoye, the former Miss Commonwealth Nigeria, wanted for alleged involvement in illegal drug activities.
According to NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, Aderinoye was proclaimed sought after fleeing her apartment in Lekki, Lagos, during a raid.
He added that a search of her residence was prompted by credible evidence indicating her involvement in narcotics trafficking.
“Meanwhile, an ex-beauty queen, Ms. Aderinoye Queen Christmas also known as Ms. Queen Oluwadamilola Aderinoye has been declared wanted by the Agency after she escaped from her Lekki, Lagos residence when NDLEA operatives raided her apartment at Oral estate, Lekki on Wednesday 24th January following credible intelligence she deals in illicit substances,” said the statement.
Babafemi also revealed that a search of Aderinoye’s home, which was performed in the presence of estate authorities, recovered 606 grams of Canadian Loud, a synthetic strain of cannabis, an electronic weighing scale, and considerable amounts of drug packaging supplies.
A black RAV 4 SUV bearing the registration number Lagos KSF 872 GQ, as well as her photo frame, were also retrieved from her home.
Aderinoye was crowned Miss Commonwealth Nigeria Culture in the 2015/2016 pageant.
She founded the Queen Christmas Foundation.
