Why Show Promoter Cancelled Zinoleesky US Tour

Zinoleesky’s (Marlian Music) US tour has been canceled by the performance promoter.

In September, Zinoleesky was scheduled to perform in ten cities around the United States.

Washington, DC, New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles, Boston, and Indianapolis are among the cities.

However, Fathia Entertainment confirmed on Sunday that the tour will no longer take place “due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.”

“We regret to announce that the forthcoming 2023 US SHOW has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstance which is beyond our control,” the statement reads.

“We are indeed so sorry, we apologize to all our American sisters & brothers who have tickets. We really do love you and we shall try to make it up, new dates will be communicated as the event unfolds. Thanks for your understanding.”

The concert cancellation could be linked to the ongoing dispute surrounding Mohbad’s death, which occurred in 2023.

Mohbad, a former Zinoleesky label mate, died last Tuesday and was buried the next day.

Months before his murder, the departed musician was engaged in a feud with his former label head, Naira Marley.

Mohbad accused the record label’s head honcho of abuse in October 2022.

He also alleged that members of Marley’s music label beat him because he wanted a new manager.

In his statement, Naira Marley claimed Mohbad was “high” when he made the assault allegation.

Mohbad’s contract with Marlian Records was later terminated.

Zinoleesky stated in January that Mohbad “was my guy, not my friend.”

“Yeah Mohbad is my guy, but I can’t say he’s my friend like that. He is my friend but people I call my friend are people that are very close to me,” he had said.

“Not just people that I know. Not just that we’re together.

“We can know each other and not be friends. That doesn’t mean we are enemies.

“I don’t think I have friends in the industry. I really don’t. “I know a lot of people in the industry and we are not friends. Most of my friends are outside of the music industry.”
