Ehi Idibia, daughter of famous artist 2Baba and Pero Adeniyi, has been admitted to the University of Connecticut (UConn) in the United States.
Adeniyi shared the news on Instagram and prayed for God’s compassion and mercy over her.
The mother of three said she was “super proud” of her daughter. She added that she was “confident” Ehi would do “exceedingly well” in school.
“Super proud of you, Ehi! I am confident that you will do exceedingly well. As you start this new chapter, God will go with you, you will not derail his mercy, and grace will forever speak for you. Thank you, Lord. It has been you and will always be you @ehiidibia,” she wrote.
2Baba has seven children from three women: Adeniyi, Sumbo Adeoye, and his wife Annie.
Adeniyi has three children with 2Baba, while Sumbo has two with the singer.
However, the singer married Annie Idibia in 2012, and they have two children together: Olivia and Isabella.
In 2021, Annie confronted her husband for supposedly sleeping with Adeniyi.
“What kind of man takes his kids to Disney and spends nights in the same apartment with his kids and their mother! How many times have you gone to see your kids with Pero under the roof. I can go on and on!” Annie had said.
Adeniyi later apologized to her husband for their apparent marital crisis, but stated that she avoided controversy by staying away from the musician.
