ASR Africa’s Tertiary Education payment Scheme (TEGS) will assist 22 Nigerian tertiary schools with a total payment of N259 million ($195,000). Al-qalam University’s designation as a TEGS project recipient demonstrates the institution’s high standards and dedication to academic success.

The construction project at Al-Qalam University is expected to be completed within six months, demonstrating ASR Africa’s commitment to timely and efficient infrastructure delivery. ASR Africa’s $100 million philanthropic fund intends to promote sustainable development in key sectors like health, education, and social welfare across Africa.

Udoh praised Al-qalam University’s management for their collaboration and proactive engagement during the project’s planning phase. He reassured stakeholders of ASR Africa’s steadfast commitment to delivering on its promises and creating long-term impact in the education sector.

Rabiu founded ASR Africa in April 2021, and it has risen as a light of hope for educational improvement and social development throughout Africa. Rabiu, worth $6.7 billion according to Forbes, has guided the BUA Group to become a prominent conglomerate with diverse assets in important African areas.

Rabiu’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure in Nigeria continues with the construction of a cutting-edge cancer center in Ilorin, Kwara State, set to begin in October 2023. These initiatives demonstrate ASR Africa’s dedication to generating positive change and developing the next generation of leaders in Nigeria and elsewhere.

The construction of the administrative block at Al-Qalam University demonstrates the transformative impact of strategic philanthropy in boosting educational growth. With ASR Africa’s sustained dedication, educational institutions across Nigeria are positioned to benefit significantly, ultimately contributing to the country’s socioeconomic prosperity.
