Olorunyomi Oloruntimilehin, better known by his stage name Bad Boy Timz, is a Nigerian musician and composer. He rose to prominence with the release of the tune “MJ” and a follow-up remix featuring Nigerian musician Mayorkun. He was also named Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2020 for his performance in Olamide’s hit tune Loading from Carpe Diem.

On May 24th, Bad Boy Timz posted a scanned copy of a petition he created against his old record label, Anonymous Music, on social media. The two parties had a falling out when his old label instigated his wrongful incarceration, a video of the incident was filmed, and he elected to cancel his contract with the big label due to the label’s “breach of contract requirements,” according to the legal declaration.

Bad Boy Timz created the Shock Absorbers Music record label in May 2021 and secured a distribution contract with Empire Label. He alleged that his old label was responsible for his illegal detention and that a video was made of the incident.
