Sammy Gyang is a virtuoso pianist, music producer, music director, sound engineer, songwriter, singer, and music teacher from Nigeria. He is known for producing high-quality sound and music. He is also the CEO of Samistouches Entertainment and the brother of multi-award winning musician “Jeremiah Gyang.”
Early Life and Education
Sammy was born in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria to the lateEvangelist Gyang Luke Dung.He comes from a religious family with a good interest in music.
In the church choir, he began his musical career by singing and playing the piano, his favorite instrument. Sammy Gyang began producing music at the age of 14 under the mentorship of his older brother, Jeremiah Gyang.
From 2002 to 2011, Sammy Gyang worked as an entertainment contractor at the Sheraton Abuja Hotel. He also performed live concerts in Nigeria for the US Embassy, French Cultural Centre, Spanish Embassy, British Council, and Julius Berger PLC, among others. Sammy Gyang continues to perform with Jeremiah Gyang and his live band.
