As of 2023, Dangote Group is the second-best performing business in Sub-Saharan Africa.
According to a survey published by African Financials, Dangote, MTN Group, and other companies have performed very well year-round and are among the top 30 corporations in Sub-Saharan Africa, excluding South Africa.
This research, which is an update as of November 2023, includes the Top 30 firms in Sub-Saharan Africa by market capitalization, with the exception of South Africa.
The study claims that since November, “Sub-Saharan Africa’s (excluding South Africa’s) stock markets rose by 7.2% in US$ terms and are down 12.8% year to date,” there is a great deal of confidence in the continent’s economic network.

Among the recent additions to the list are Airtel Uganda, Dangote Sugar, FBN Bank (Nigeria), and NMB Bank (Tanzania). Airtel Malawi, Helios Towers, NMB Bank Malawi, First Capital Holdings, and other businesses have all removed themselves from the list.
