Young Entrepreneurs Get N2.25 Million Church Grants

The Apostolic Faith Church announced on Friday night that the three young entrepreneurs who won its 2023 business pitch will receive a prize of N2.25 million.

At the “Ebenezer Night” concluding ceremony of the 2023 annual International Youth Camp, held in Ogun State, District Superintendent of the Church in West and Central Africa, Isaac Adigun, presented the grants.

According to HowNG, the church’s youth division invited young entrepreneurs to apply for funding to help launch and grow their enterprises.

Six contenders, including Uche Udekwe, the winner of the Future Africa Award, were shortlisted.

The church noted that the second runner-up bagged N500,000 with the first runner-up, Uche Udekwe bagging N750,000.

The winner, Eunice Adewale, bagged N1m.

A statement on the official Facebook page of the Church noted that, “Over 100 people started the race to becoming the winner of the business pitch 2023.”

In 2022, the church awarded  N2.6m to seven business owners.
