Samuel Animashaun, aka Sammy Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, is a Nigerian actor, comedian, voice-over artist, singer, and scriptwriter from Ogun State. He began his career as a comedian and established his Instagram account in 2017. He then began posting his comedy videos on it.
Early Life And Career
Shaggi’s father is no longer alive, but his mother has not remarried. He was not born into a wealthy family, and he has three brothers, the first of whom is me. Broda Shaggi’s interest in acting and comedy began when he was a child. Broda Shaggi had always wanted to be a drama actor. He also recognized his talent as a comedian.

In an interview with Samuel Animashaun, he said The Name Broda shaggi came up when I went to my mechanic’s workshop and overheard some of the mechanics playing around the character of Brodashaggi and it really made me laugh, I could also create Brodashaggi since I had even done something similar in a stage play before. I decided to start something on Instagram because no one else was doing it and I like to stand out. Shaggidon was the first name I thought of, then Shaggi, and finally Brodashaggi.
Broda Shaggi Popularity
As stated at the outset of this article, BrodaShaggi created an Instagram account and began uploading his comedy skits. As a result, in 2018, BrodaShaggi joined the ranks of stars whose popularity had been amplified by social media after his skit about “Jesus appeared in Mushin” went viral. Aunty Shaggi asked him in the video what he would do if Jesus appeared in the area. Even though the comedy was criticized by many Actors/actresses that it is not good to mock the name of Jesus Christ, According to him, I am an actor and there is no way I could have expressed that character if I shied away from some things.
