He was born in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. Surprisingly, he is granted citizenship by the Nigerian government in 1978. Adebayo Salami, his father, is known as Oga Bella. He comes from a polygamous family, according to Femi’s information. His father is the father of approximately twelve (12) children. The majority of them are graduates.
Femi received his primary and secondary education at Jender Age and Oke-Ode Grammar School, respectively.
In Lagos State, Nigeria, Femi completed both his primary and secondary school education, earning both his First School Leaving Certificate and his West African Senior School Certificate.

Femi Lateef Adebayo attended the University of Ilorin and majored in law. He then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Theatre Arts.
Adebayo’s ambition since he was a child has been to become a lawyer. Oga Bello, his father, is a very supportive father, especially when it comes to his children’s careers. And, because that is what they want, he does not bother himself with any career they choose to study; he gives them his full attention and support.
Femi practiced law for two years, but he was always interested in the entertainment industry. Seeing his father on television on a regular basis encouraged him to pursue his dream.
Femi was a teen when he saw his father’s acted film on television. Then he became obsessed with acting. His father gave him the freedom to choose his own job. So, in addition to his law practice, he began to play various roles in films. However, he will have to work hard for a long time to establish himself as an actor.
According to the information we have, he usually accompanied his father to movie sets, and meeting veterans such as Jide Kosoko, Iya Rainbow, Late Hubert Ogunde, and others piqued his interest. Fortunately, he also trained with his father’s Awada Kerikeri.
In 1985, he made his film debut in his father’s first film, Ogun Ajaye. In 1995, the brilliant star Femi transformed into an actor, and his featured film was a Tade Ogidan film called “Owo Blow.”
