Governor Fubara Promises To Immortalise Wigwe, Support His University

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has lamented the death of Access Bank’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Herbert Wigwe, calling it a “disastrous loss.”

Fubara gave an exclusive interview to Channels Television at Government House in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

The governor said he was still reeling from last Friday’s devastating helicopter crash in the United States of America, which killed the business mogul, his wife and kid, and others.

The governor acknowledged Wigwe’s contribution to the growth of his administration by providing sound economic counsel.

He stated that the Rivers State Government would do everything possible to assure the success of the newly founded Wigwe University, which was one of the late Rivers businessman’s major investments.
