Kizz Daniel’s “Twe Twe Tops the List of Most Streamed Songs in Nigeria in Q1 of 2024

TurnTable Charts, the official Nigerian music chart publication, has recently released the statistics for the most-streamed songs of the year thus far, with Kizz Daniel’s “Twe Twe” remix starring Davido taking the coveted number-one slot!

This comes as little surprise to those who have had “Twe Twe” stuck in their minds since its release in late 2023. The catchy track and Davido’s remix proven tempting for Nigerian music aficionados.

But Kizz Daniel does not stop there! His solo single “Too Busy To Bae” also made the top ten, demonstrating his ability to produce hits in 2024.

While Kizz Daniel dominated the charts, there were plenty of other fantastic performers who kept Nigerians engaged. Chike and Mohbad’s dynamic collaboration “Egwu” peaked at number two, while emerging talent Seyi Vibez had two hits in the top five with “Cana” and “Different Pattern”.

It wasn’t all Nigerian dominance, however. Titom, Yuppe, S.N.E, and EeQue’s viral hit “Twala Bam” reached number 10.

The first half of 2024 has been a tremendous year for Nigerian music, with a strong mix of veteran talents and fresh newcomers. We’re excited to see what the remainder of the year brings!
