  • State your business and personal names

My name is Suashi Emmanuella Ini-Usoro, I am the managing partner of Ebusiness Technology solutions Hub, popularly known as Ebusiness Hub Nigeria. We provide Digital support, Social media and ecommerce management services for MSMEs

  • How did you get your idea/concept for your business?

I was running my ecommerce business www.accessoriesmall.com.ng at that time and my friends would call me to help out with all their tech related problems and the would also tell their friends when they had technology related problems. So I found out I loved providing solutions to tech related problems, and that was how I started Ebusiness Hub Nigeria

  • What are your values and ethics?

We are all about exceeding customer expectations, we find out what they want and go out of our way to surpass their expectations of us. Integrity drives us, in this type of environment where people always want short cuts, we are resolute to only do what is right at all times. We are also sold out to capacity building; no one who comes to work with us should ever leave the same way they came. They should have learnt enough to affect their and whatever other organizations they find themselves, as we operate an open learning field.

We are working towards being the Social media management and Ecommerce management agency of choice in Nigeria.

  • Initial goal before branching into your line of business

The initial goal was to train SMEs and new graduates on how to leverage on technology to grow their business, structuring this part of our business is still in the works. We have also successfully conducted 2 trainings, Social media for business training, and Ebusiness skills training. We hope to train more people in future.

  • Apart from sustainability reasons, what is your mission for the business?

Our mission is to help small businesses leverage on technology as much as possible to help grow their business. There are so many opportunities out there and the internet and social media have helped reduce distance and brought solutions closer. The world is becoming smaller and there is now a global marketplace at our fingertips, at times all you need is a phone.

  • What aspect of this job excites you most?

Research, excites me, it opens my mind to new information daily, and also new business fields that I am not used to, I get to find out more, study and create content for them. I also love the project management aspects, delivering projects to our clients as at when due.

  • What services do you render and how does it help the needs of your clients?

Social media Management service: People are on social media networks, and the average Nigerian is on his/her phone at least every 6 hours. Being consistently online can be a full time Job for a business owner, that’s where we come in. consistency on social media, makes you top of mind to clients and customers. If you cannot afford to get your social media outsourced, we can also help get your staff trained to properly handle your social media. This is available to schools, manufacturers, fashion designers, Hotels, distribution companies, ecommerce businesses, and so on and so forth.

Web-design / Ecommerce design and management: As much as you want to be on social media, you should also have a web presence, so that Google can find you when people search for you services and goods. We help you set up online. If you also want to sell on marketplaces and don’t know how, we also manage for you.

  • Who are those you look up to (Mentors, Influencers, Role models) and why?

Sara Blakely! She literally built a multi-million dollar underwear company online from her living room before she quit her job to handle it full time.

  • To what do you attribute your success?

God first and foremost, even though I am nowhere close to where I want and need to be, he has sustained us so far.

  • Do you work locally, internationally or both?

We are very open to working internationally, especially across Africa. For now, most of our clients are Local.

  • Tell us 3 things you like and dislike about being a business owner

I like having to be a visionary, to see things before they even materialize, to sell the vision to my team and get them to see like I do. One thing I dislike though is having a slothful person on the team, and having to let them go.

  • What would be your advice to someone just starting out in your line of business?

There will be many days you want to quit, ask for grace, just for that day, and that fuel will keep you going for a while, when you get to that point again, repeat.
