Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress, has called off her rally in Lagos to demand justice for Mohbad’s killing.
Mohbad, 27, passed away on September 12 and was buried the next day.
The circumstances surrounding the 27-year-old’s death have sparked debate on social media.
Thousands of Nigerian teenagers marched through the streets with placards on Tuesday, while others held candlelight processions in Mohbad’s honor.
Ojo had previously stated that a demonstration from Oba Akran to the Lagos state executive and legislative buildings will take place on Wednesday.

The statement added that some members of Ojo’s team will visit the Lagos state government offices to “register their concerns”.
