The full name of Oyinkkanade is Oyinkasade Dare Akande. He is a talented Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entertainer. He has performed alongside prominent Nigerian rapper, Olamide.
Early Life
Oyinkanade was born on January 13, 1988, in Ibadan, Oyo State, to Mr. Shola Akande and Deaconess Ibidunni Akande. He attended Olabisi Nursery/Primary School in Ibadan for his primary education. Oyinkanade continued his secondary school education at Methodist Grammar School in Bodija, Ibadan. He is currently pursuing a degree in Political Science at the University of Abuja.

Career
Oyinkanade began his musical career as a chorister in an Ibadan Baptist Church. He learned to play the acoustic guitar and was a member of the Bridgez singing group. After realizing he could do more, he went to the MTN Project Fame season 5 audition in 2012, where he demonstrated his exceptional singing and stage presence abilities.
He finished fourth overall and is well known for his outstanding performance during the MTN Project Fame West Africa Season 5 competition. Oyinkande not only piqued everyone’s interest, but also that of his new boss, Tee-Y Mix, a competition judge who later signed him to his record label, Vivace Records. He was the label’s first male artist to sign.
Oyinkanade’s first single, “Adura,” was released in 2012, and it was produced by Tee-Y Mix. He sings in Yoruba as well as English. Oyinkanade released hit songs such as “Adura” and “Oyin” in 2014 and 2015, as well as a remix of “Adura” with prominent Nigerian rapper Olamide. On his 2016 single “Ati So Rire,” he collaborated with Wasila, Soundcity Vj, and rapper VJ Adams, to name a few.
In 2017, he released Adebanke, Jekanmo after signing with Vivace Records. Following the release of the single on January 1, 2018, Oyinkanade released additional songs such as Ayo (My Prayer), Japa, and his most recent release Sweetim, which was released on October 20, 2018, to help him maintain his fame in the music industry.
