Tems, a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, won the hearts of many at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards.
Tems, who is slated to perform at the event, stepped out looking beautiful and glamorous in her long black outfit.
The ‘Me and You’ star, who is known for always bringing her A-game to the red carpet, posed in a stunning translucent black net dress with feathered ruffles on the sleeves and ends.
She completes her glittering look with the African-inspired Bantu Knot haircut.
Tems will get a ‘Breakthrough Award’ during this year’s event.
According to Billboard, the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards honorees “demonstrate the degree to which music has become a global enterprise”.
The singer is the sole Nigerian musician that will be honored during the ceremony.
Tems, born Temilade Openiyi, rose to international prominence in 2020 after collaborating with Wizkid on the song ‘Essence’.
She has subsequently made a reputation for herself in the Nigerian music industry, receiving numerous prizes and recognition.
In February 2023, the songstress won her first-ever Grammy award.
She bagged the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for her role in ‘Wait for U’, the 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake.
