The technology-driven premium vehicle hailing service has recently launched new vehicles, expanded its services to more routes in different parts of Lagos and has recently introduced the ‘Scan and Ride’ feature to allow its riders access to its premium services.

Plentywaka launched into the transportation industry in September 2019 to provide hassle-free transportation to the everyday Nigerian at pocket-friendly rates.

Since then, they have lived up to expectations, developing the features to further give riders and drivers better experience.

One of the recently launched feature ensures that both new and existing riders can simply take a ride, check-in and check-out using the QR codes on the vehicles.

This is called the ‘Scan and Ride’ feature. With this feature, riders can simply scan to download the app, check-in and check-out of the vehicles using their smartphones.

The ‘Scan and Ride’ feature was introduced along with the new vehicles that were recently launched on the Plentywaka platform.

Plentywaka launched its services with 25 vehicles and in 5 months since its launch, the technology-driven platform has increased its capacity with the launch of new vehicles. These new vehicles were introduced through the Plentywaka Vehicle Partnership Scheme, in a bid to accommodate the growing number of its users.

The Plentywaka Vehicle Partnership (PVP) was introduced to provide individuals the opportunity to not only register their vehicles on the platform for free, but they also earn up to 500k monthly.

The PVP Scheme has 3 onboarding opportunities available, these include the Vehicle Onboarding package which allows vehicle owners to register their own vehicles on the platform, the Vehicle Lease Financing package which provides the opportunity for individuals to incur 30% of equity cost and 70% is provided by a Vehicle Leasing Company through a partnership that will generate revenues for all the parties involved.

The final package is the Vehicle Purchase with Cars45 which provides the opportunity to simply sign up to purchase a quality vehicle and the vehicle will be registered on the platform.

TechEconomy.ng understand that all the vehicles will remain the assets of its owners and will not belong to Plentywaka or its partners.

According to the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Plentywaka, Johnny Enagwolor, “This Plentywaka partnership will introduce Nigerians to a new way of not only making money but also empowering their fellow citizens by creating multiple job opportunities for individuals with little or no source of income.”
