Jandor, Olajide AbdulAzeez Adediran, is a well-known Nigerian journalist, entrepreneur, and politician. He was the leader of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, an All Progressive Congress (APC) group that later defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Early Life & Education
Jandor was born on November 25, 1977, in Mushin, Lagos State, which is located in the country’s southwest. He was born to a Muslim father and a Christian mother. He is the fifth child in a family of seven. He is from Aworiland in Lagos State’s Ojo Local Government.
Jandor received his primary and secondary education in Lagos. He continued his education at The Polytechnic of Ibadan. He also attended Modul University in Vienna, the prestigious Howard University School of Business in Washington, DC, and Oxford University in Oxford, UK, where he completed his other educational background.
He began his career as a skilled journalist with over two decades of experience in business, entertainment, and politics before landing a job in communications consulting. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Nigerian Broadcasting Organization, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, and the Nigerian Union of Journalists. Jandor is currently the CEO of Core Media Services Ltd., a full-service media company that specializes in advertising and media consultancy, as well as Datanet Project Services, which specializes in oil installations, procurement, and construction.
Core-Bet, a casino and sports betting company, is owned by Jandor. CoreTvNews, a 24-hour national digital terrestrial network on Channel 748, is also owned by him. He is also the founder of the Jandor Foundation, a non-profit organization in Lagos State dedicated to assisting the poor. Lagos PDP Gubernatorial candidate
Jandor was declared the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in 2022, during the preparations for the Lagos 2023 gubernatorial election. Prior to this announcement, about six people expressed interest in being the party’s governorship candidate, including Olajide Adediran, Adedeji Doherty, Rhodes Gbadebo, Ade Dosunmu, David Kolawole, Otunba Jimi Karmal, and David Vaughan, four of whom later stepped down for him.
The rest of the candidates ran in a primary election, and Jandor was declared the winner by the party’s electoral committee chairman, Emmanuel Ogidi. Jandor received 679 votes, while his opponent, David Vaughan, received 20 votes. On July 6, 2022, the Lagos PDP named well-known Nollywood actress Funke Akindele as Jandor’s running mate.
Mrs. Maryam Olajide Adediran is Jandor’s happily married wife. Fareedah Oluwamayokun Amoke and Fadhilulah Oluwamurewa are the couple’s two children.

Jandor is a philanthropist who has made a difference in the lives of many people, particularly the less fortunate.
