Wale Edun, a friend of former Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun and a colleague of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo in Lagos state, is married to Amy Adwoa Edun (née Appiah), a Ghanaian, and one of his sons, Adetomiwa Edun is a UK-based actor, and another (Tobi Edun) is married to Folake Fajemirokun, the daughter of Chief Oladele Fajemirokun, a successful business magnate, entrepreneur, investor, venture capitalist, philanthropist, and Chairman of Xerox Company. Edith Korantema Fajemirokun (Koranteng), Chief Oladele’s wife, is also a Ghanaian.

In October 2015 he was named as one of the Ministerial nominees to be screened by the National Assembly under the President Buhari led administration. Since then, nothing much has been heard about him.
